Lathan Goumas | MLive.com..February 14, 2012 - Roseann O'Keefe, of Grand Blanc, takes day-old Sophia Novak from a nurse in the nursery at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc Township on Tuesday. O'Keefe volunteers with the the hospital's "Nursery Grandmas" program in which a team of volunteers assist with daily nursery activities like feeding, changing and rocking the new-born babies. The 83-year-old mother of 9, grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 1 has been volunteering with the program since it began four years ago.
