Lathan Goumas | MLive.com..February 7, 2012 - A painting by Lavarne Ross called "Sam's life" which explores the history of African Americans. Ross, a Flint born painter, is hosting a show called "My Flint" which depicts the Old Saint John Street neighborhood of the city during the 1940s through the 1960s.
